My linode, recently migrated to host73, died around 02:45 EDT today. When I looked on the console I was told that no linode was running.

A "boot" from lish worked fine and the system came up OK.

Nothing showed in /var/log/messages

The only thing that was running "out of the ordinary" was the weekly level 0 dump.

Now, my linode has been running stable on host21 for years. I hope this move to host73 hasn't introduced instability into the system. I'll be very upset if it has!

Suddently suspend, maybe u'd not restart it via lish, and instead of submitting a ticket or chatting with a linode staff to tackle the problem.
