I realize there's already
another request for native IPv6 transport here, and although I am looking forward to the day this can be implemented, I'm also happy with using my own privately set up tunnel broker for now.
One area that doesn't appear to be covered in that request is to have IPv6 interface(s) added to the Linode DNS servers. I'm in the process of switching to a registrar that supports IPv6 glue, at which point the last IPv4 requirement in my chain (disregarding the fact that my 6to4 technically requires IPv4 on my end) will be DNS resolution on the Linode servers. I could, of course, configure my own DNS servers to run over my tunnels as well, but I'd rather not commit the hardware resources and (minimal) bandwidth unless absolutely necessary.
I don't really care how many of the nsX.linode.com servers support v6 initially (I noticed two new name servers appeared recently), but having at least one available for testing would be fantastic.
