Would it be possible to add a feature where advanced users could manually edit their zone files instead of having to use the Web GUI?

I can think of at least two reasons why I'd like this:

*It's faster (No need to edit one entry at a time)
*BIND goes through the entires in order, so wildcard records have to be kept last

I know that I can run BIND on my VPS (and use Linode's servers as slaves), and I have done so in the past. Having the DNS on Linode's servers is just one less thing to worry about...

Any comment from the Linode staff?

I can definitely see the use for this -- as a way to make bulk edits, or even to import from an existing zone file -- and will add it to our feature list, but I can't make any promises as to where this will land on our development roadmap.
