Hi guys

A while back I reported how the Debian Small image did not use MD5 nor shadow for its passwords.

Well I've found out that you can fix it by doing the following ...

dpkg-reconfigure passwd

If you want to read more about it, you can go to ...

http://opencurve.org/~sunny/debian3.0/md5-shadow-passwd.html

I'll fix this in the next debian fs release...

Thanks,

It would be nice if you also removed the pcmcia package from the defualt image. :^)

There are a bunch of bone-headed things that were included in all the images. I'm slowly getting through them; an updated debian image should be ready soon.
