I was discover the problem which might come from something on host7.linode.com compare to host10.linode.com. I did try to use ping and www.netmachanic.com* test site. It's report the server is not 100% realible. As the below result.

Ping statistics for 64.62.190.10:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 100, Lost = 0 (0%)
Approximate RTT in ms: Min. = 20ms, Max. = 26ms, Avg. = 23ms

Ping statistics for 64.5.53.12:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 94, Lost = 6 (6%)
Approximate RTT in ms: Min. = 17ms, Max. = 29ms, Avg. = 19ms

Does anybody else have an idea regarding this problem?

$19.95 is a little steep for me for server monitoring; does anyone have another service or an installable program that they recommend?

There are a number of ways in which mrtg can be put to use, although I was unable to get basic mrtg to work, let alone any of the additions ;)

Does anybody who has the VDS running on host7 notice the network's problem?

Just an FYI, the problem was identified as a Linode swapping out of control. This Linode account is being upgraded so this shouldn't be a problem.

Things should be back to normal.

Thanks,
-Chris
