It would be awesome if it were possible to link accounts together.

I have several accounts that I manage here on linode, it would be cool if I could toggle between them with a drop down menu so I don't have to keep track of all of the usernames and passwords.

Maybe at the same time you could implement OpenID as an authentication option. (So I can use my pre-existing two factor auth instead of ip whitelisting to lock down my accounts)

I miss these features from a certain other Xen VPS company that I also use.

You already can! That was actually implemented two years ago:

Note that only works with a single account (and single billing) that can contain multiple Linodes. The "merge" functionality in that post actually deletes the multiple accounts, and brings all of the Linodes in those accounts under a single account and billing plan.

If you want separate billing, you still have to maintain individual accounts and Linodes can't be grouped together from multiple accounts (nor items like network bandwidth aggregated together).

I'd also find it convenient to see a way to manage Linodes across multiple accounts, or in my case, just have a separate billing setup for Linodes under a single account to permit the allocation sharing.

Yes, I was aware that you can have account merged. but that doesn't solve my problem. of multiple account holders, since I'm just a sysadmin for these accounts, not the owner.

oh and. urls that keep track of which linode you are using. if you open up more than one tab for multiple linodes and you navigate in the old tab, you get switched to the last linode you were looking at.

That's your browser's fault.

How is that the browser's fault? It's how the site is designed. It could be designed so that doesn't happen. I haven't looked into it, but I'm assuming it sets a cookie when you enter a node's page.

I too can make baseless claims. Intel's new Xeon processors are going to be using 1/4 bit CPUs!

Many sites use cookies to keep track of authentication. Your browser shares cookies across threads. That's your browser's fault

That's the way cookies are designed to work. That's what they do. It would be the browser's fault if it behaved any other way.

Just collect all the relevant API keys and administer them that way.
