Hi I love to use the AJAX console, because I can access my linode even from the most barred network.

Unfortunately, it seems to have stopped working when I upgraded to Firefox 3.6. It still works when I use (reluctantly) iexplorer, or when I use FF 3.5 from home.

Can anyone confirm this or does the AJAX console work for you with FF 3.6?

Cheers
Thomas

Same problem here. It stopped working as I upgraded to FF3.6, still works with Safari.

This might be a good time to repeat that it also does not work in Chrome.

So, now it only works in IE and Safari :(

The Ajax console isn't linode developed, it's ajaxterm. if you google "ajaxterm firefox 3.6" or "ajaxterm chrome", you'll see there are others with problems as well.

Try Konqueror?

Ah, yes, Konq is a good suggestion on a system where iexplore is listed as an alternative to Firefox.

Since KDE is cross-platform and is available for Windows, it might not be a good suggestion, but it's still a valid one.

Well, installing Konqueror on Windows would be technically possible but it is not really an option for me. BTW, yesterday I tried to use the AJAX console with Konqueror on KDE 4.3.2 (Debian/testing) but I couldn't get past the login screen. Firefox 3.5 on the same machine is fine.

Hopefully ajaxterm gets updated soon then.

It won't, it's a dead project. It's up to Linode to fix any bugs in it.

I believe we have deployed a fix for this. Console should work fine in FF 3.6.

Can you share details of the fix (or a link if you found it somewhere else)? I run ajaxterm on my linode for users as well as elsewhere.

I can confirm that the fix for FF 3.6 worked.

But Chrome is still broken :(

Yes, I'm going to keep reminding of that ;)

Odd, on both of my computers with Firefox 3.6 the console still doesn't work. I even tried running Firefox in Safe Mode with the extensions disabled thinking that maybe one of them was causing problems, but no luck.

Anything in the Javascript error console?
