I'd like to see entries in the linode library for using heartbeat or whatever other high availability software in combination with the ip failover feature in the linode control panel. As well as an entry for database replication and load balancing such as haproxy or ldirectord. So basically some real basic high availability and scalability entries. Also, in the meantime if anybody has links to some good tutorials/guides for setting up the following I've not been having very good luck with google. Everything I find is either several years old or not something that gives me much confidence. I'd love to get a consensus on the "best" high availability and scalability techniques.

+1... Not a step by step, since one size doesn't fit all in this situation, but the pieces and theory that one would need to make this work
