Thanks for the tip! I just searched the Market on my phone and it was there so I installed it, that web page says this is the official version! cool!

Strike that, the installation is not complete, not functional on my phone.

Hi diltonm,

This software was made for me, is not Linode official version.

Please use this version:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.linode.android

I would appreciate any feedback. ;-)

PS: I don't know the reason that is not available on Market yet.

Anyway to make an app (Widget) for LG phones? Only if you're bored. :)

Can you get them to use the api key instead of the username/password?

Hi ohkus,

Tell me more about this feature.

Do you will put all 64 digits of the Api key on logon screen?

Thank you for you feedback.

Good job on the Android app so far! Can't wait for more improvements!

The only problem I had was signing in. I couldn't scroll down all the way in panormaic (sideways) view to hit "submit". I use the Motorola Droid.

I've tried the App several times. On my Nexus One, after installing then trying to run the App from the main Apps screen, Android complains that it isn't installed.

Yet if I go to the Settings | Applications | Manage Applications screen, it is there and I can successfully uninstall it.

Hi diltonm,

I just have emulator for Android 2.1 and work fine for me.

Can you please try this procedure ?

1- Uninstall Linode Android app
2- Clear Cache/Data for Download Manager, Market and Package INstaller applications (Application settings -> Manage applications)
3- Reboot your device
4- Try install Linode via Market

I appreciate if you can try it and give me the feedback.

Thank you

I tried it and it does work now. Nice job! It opens correctly from the main App screen.

Thanks,
Dilton

Awesome - great to see this app.

Here's a more useful link for Android users --

http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/com.linode.android/

It lets you install via barcode scanner, a much more common app than AppBrain

In fact:

Well, that didn't work. Guess phpBB doesn't handle images that don't have an image extension. Typical. Well, Click the link above. :)

I've tried this a few times, although I didn't find much real use for it, I always have my laptop around. Its nice to have the option available though.

Your image:

You used to be able to avoid it simply by sticking '&ext=.png' on the end of a url, my solution: Image
