I just seen a minor bug while looking at my control panel.

I am on the freemont dc and my linode went offline. I seen this in the job queue:
Success
Host initiated restart
Entered: 36 years 10 months ago - Took: 9 seconds

Thanks for starting my linode up 37 years in advance :D

That's a normal thing when a server has had a problem. When they put in reboot jobs for all nodes on a host, they set the date to way in the past so that those boot jobs execute prior to any user initiated jobs. It used to show the date as being 1/1/70 or something like that, now it has the "ago" thing, but it's the same deal.

Jobs are entered with the date set to 4-Jan-1974 -- the epoch of caker.

Ok, I guess that makes sense. I thought it was a bug from them manually forcing the booting of all linodes.
