Hello

I am planning to purchase a Nodebalancer sometime in the close future and I have a feature request. (Please forgive me if this feature already exists, I haven't yet purchased the Nodebalancer)

At http://library.linode.com/linode-platform/nodebalancer-howto it says:

Quote:
With the current setup, there is only one backend node (which we will add shortly); if the backend goes down, NodeBalancer will serve a plain 503 Service Unavailable error page.

Is there any way of providing a facility for a custom 503 Service Unavailable page to be used. Some HTML page (possibly with branding etc) which the user specifies saying that the site is down for maintenance.

Just a thought :-)

What do you guys think?

FYI this doesn't exist at the moment. +1 for this, also having the balancers act as a SSL end point for HTTPS would be great too.
