Hello, are you thinking about the possibility to create (and after, manage) the specs of every node instead having a "package + extra" as now?

I mean I'd like to create a node with low CPU requirements (1, 2 cores only...) but with much disk space; or a node with big CPU power (4+ cores), low disk usage and low monthly traffic...
Something like a more detailed configuration.

For example, if I'd like a node with 4 GB RAM but with low disk space and low monthly traffic, now it's not possible: I must choose the "Linode 4096" pack with other resources I don't need...

What do you think about? Can it be possible for you?

Thank you

Since linode benefits greatly from homogeneity, it's doubtful, but not impossible.

More likely would be something like nodes with more disk space that are sold as high disk allocation boxes with less CPU guarantee or similar. There are other hosts who do that sort of thing.
Allowing customers to choose specific resource allocations tends to result in inefficient use of all your hardware.

Yes, many other VPS providers offer this type of customisation.
Linode has already the best service, this way it could have the best commercial offer too!

It could be keep together a better resources allocation and a better commercial appeal, at least in my opinion...
