There are probably just a few packages that could be removed, but overall I'm happy with the install. Please let me know if I've overlooked anything.

I love that we dont just have redhat + debian as OS choices. Reason I signed up in the first place is my fav distro Slackware was on offer :)

A method that's worked well for me is to take a Debian install and change the apt sources to point at Ubuntu's archive.
