I'm using the 'watch this forum' option that phpBB offers to monitor the Announcements forum. Which is great, I find out about new topics without having to check the forum regularly. But it also means I'm sent a notification for every 'Yay caker!' email.

Not to say I don't heartily agree with every single one, Chris deserves them. But it'd be nice to not have to fire up the browser and go to the forum to find that's all it was.

Any chance of a 'clean' announcements feed of some kind? mailing list? RSS? a forum where only Chris and Michael can post?

if phpBB would actually send what was posted, rather than just that something was posted, it wouldn't be an issue, but that's a whole different conversation ;)

Paul

p.s. Yay caker!

p.p.s. if I'm being clueless and such a list already exists, just point me to the subscription info and I'll be suitably embarrassed...
