Just woke up... 8:30am (US Eastern). It seems HE's been wonky since around 7:55am. Yes, tickets have been submitted. No, nobody seems awake.

It's a holiday folks. Go out and enjoy the weather if you can.

Edit: As of 11:12am (US eastern) it seems to be fully resolved.

My linode has gone crazy at that time. I'm on host22 which seems to be in HE.

I issued a reboot at 07/04/2006 07:55:27 AM. I'm still waiting for it (it's In Queue, Job Status as of 07/04/2006 08:44:58 AM).

Does it make any sense?

The Telia-HE network bottleneck from 6/28 seems to be back, with much packet loss this time:

Read your traceroute. This is entirely within HE's network (last hop before the host.) It has *nothing* to do with Telia.

Same problem here, on host59.

I think mpolhamus was referring to the following two lines:

Quote:
11 hurricane-113208-dls-bb1.c.telia.net (213.248.92.22) 81.405 ms 82.859 ms 99.552 ms
12 pos5-0.gsr12012.lax.he.net (66.160.184.5) 256.223 ms 132.746 ms 251.115 ms

The wide variance in ping times would suggest an intermittent bottleneck between Telia and HE.
