Are there problems with host9? High packet lost to host9.linode.com and linode on that host.

host9 looks fine from here. You'll need to perform a traceroute to localize the problem.

Interesting. I've a 2nd DSL connection here, different ISP (BT vs Tiscali), and I've tried it on that -- it is fine with BT but not Tiscali.

However, I don't have problems to other random sites I've tried (e.g. www.google.com, news.bbc.co.uk etc).

Traceroute results look "wierd" -- notice the repeats for the host9.linode.com at the end;
