The Atlanta data center has been in touch with us regarding an emergency Cisco router repair. We're being told the actual repair would only take ~ 15 minutes and it would not be a complete outage. Updates if or as soon as we have them.

This is been completed, but give some time for the routes to settle down.

host78.atlanta.linode.com is getting about 25% packet loss (with ping), so the atlanta datacenter must still be having problems.

Any ETA on this ?

My linode is li17-47.members.linode.com on host92.atlanta.linode.com.

ping and traceroute to host92.atlanta.linode.com is OK.

But, traceroute to my linode gives up and I cannot ssh to it nor remote console to it.

Is there any chance of getting some sort of acknowledgment from the Support Team to say this is being investigated. I opened a support ticket early this morning (UK Time) regarding this and so far I have not had a single response.

Thanks

The packet loss has been coming and going. I've escalated this with the Atlanta datacenter and am awaiting a response. I'll update here when I know more.

There is no need to issue reboots.
