Dallas51's kernel started complaining about lost interrupts. After a hard reboot the machine panicked with "irq N: nobody cared". Rebooting again with the irqpoll kernel argument seems to have done the trick, and the Linodes are booting now. If things go south again, expect migrations off this host. We'll keep an eye on it.

Sounds like a depressed kernel problem.
