I recently joined linode may be one or two weeks back. To be honest I was unable to decide between SliceHost and Linode, escpecially considering recent RackSpace aquisition.

I opened account at both places continued testing and reading reviews around. It added more confusion as they are *very much* comparable in terms of quality of servers and service. For Linode, using their 7 day test and refund policy I at least cancelled and requested refund 4 times. And every time I got a prompt reply along with refund confirmation. Only at the last time they did ask, why I signed up and cancelled but that too after issuing refund.

To me this was real test of business ethics a company follows (though I was probably abusing theur 7 day refund policy) and won me over as a customer.

I just hope they continue providing the same quality service, service and do business in a same way!
