My wish for today would be that linode didn't count incoming bandwidth against the quota--it makes it feel less flexible to me since I'm reluctant to transfer files in.

A Linode 360 has a bandwidth quota of 200GB, and a disk quota of 12GB. In order to exhaust your quota transferring files in, you would need to transfer enough data to fill your disk over sixteen times. I don't think there's anything to worry about there...

That's it exactly. Just open up a support ticket and let them know you want to switch to annual payment. I don't think it should take them long.
