Linode has proved to be absolutely wonderful. I tried buying a VPS once before owning a Linode and it was very confusing. Linode has been very good to me as I am still learnign the ins and outs of running a VPS. As well as helping me familiarize myself with linux, along with compiling and installing apache, php, etc... What a learning experience! And if I ever mess up terribly. Poof, re-install the OS with a few clicks. Brilliant!

The customer support I've found is top notch too. Extremely quick replies, with a knowledgeable service rep, and very friendly to top it off.
