It's absolutely a horror to have wrongly clicked on one of these: 1) the 'remove' link of a linode, 2) the 'Delete' button of configuration files and images.

Anyway you could highlight these in bloody Red? 8)

For delete Linode, a separate page with a checkbox. For delete configuration/disk, a Javascript alert. So, yes.

Then why do the links need to be highlighted in red if you can't accidentally delete/remove those?

Because if they're highlighted in red, the mouse pointer will magically get attracted to them! That way, you get to learn the hard way how to be careful with clicks of your mouse.
