I recently shrunk my disk, and did some basic math with kcalc. What was 24064 needed to be shrunk by 8192 to 15871.

The problem is that kcalc includes commas in the output, and I copied and pasted "15,871" in as the new number. The linode control panel stopped reading at the comma, and tried to resize my disk to 15MB. That didn't work, and it aborted the operation no damage done...

... but it would be nice if things like a comma would be picked up and either silently removed or simply rejected. :)

Workaround: use bc. ;-)
