Hi to all!

What i have: ubuntu 9.10 and ispmanager(with lamp of course) install on it.
To my linode was adding one extra ip address.

Now i decided to customizing name servers in ispmanager for future to adding new domains:

http://en.ispdoc.com/index.php/Сu ... ISPmanager

There is no problem for me. Next:

My domain have namerservers of registrant (ns1.registrant.tld and ns2.registrant.tld) and i have managed dns setting on it. (for google aps). Also i add "A-type record":

Code:
@   A       109.74.201.19

for direct to my linode server. That's ok. Next:

Problems for my brain:

I do not want use linode's nameservers(and DNS Manager) for customizing name servers in ispmanager. I want use DNS Manager of my registrant.

For correct customizing name servers in ispmanager:

1) What settings i should to make in my DNS Manager of registrant?

2) What settings i should to make in my linode network, ubuntu server?

Please help me.. 8(

Sergey, hello from russia.
tnx

It is not clear exactly what you are asking. If you want DNS to be handled entirely by your registrar, you can simply use their interface and point the names to the IP address of your Linode.

If you are using name-based virtual hosts, you will have to tell your web server to answer to the names you have chosen. I have never used ISPmanager, but it looks like it will help you set this up. Other than that, there shouldn't be any special configuration necessary on your Linode.
