Good morning everyone,

I have been experimenting with Reiser4 lately

http://blog.alessiosignorini.com/2010/02/reiser4-performances/

and I am quite impressed by its speed and feature set.

Would it be possible for you to apply the Reiser4 patches

http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/edward/reiser4/reiser4-for-2.6/

to the kernel you compile and build the module reiser4.ko?

One of the features that I would like to have is the on-the-fly compression. It is very useful for mail servers.

Let me know, thanks for your help, ciao!

You can run your own custom kernel via pv. That's going to be the way to do this.
