I'd like to use SPF records in the Linode DNS. Any plans for adding this capability in the future?

SPF records are just TXT records. You can add them now.

They may be asking for support of the SPF RR as defined in RFC 4408.

1. Run a DNS server on your Linode - Gives you anything you want.
2. Set Linode DNS servers as slaves (dashboard) - They just zone transfer whatever is provided by your DNS server.
3. Set you domains authoritive name servers to linodes DNS servers at you registrar.
4. Wait a while for DNS propergation.
5. Job Done.

Sorry if I sound rude but, I didn't ask for a work-around. I asked Linode to include this feature on their DNS service.

No you didn't ask for a work-around, but how am I to know that you already know about this work around, or didn't know about it, but were still going to find it not an acceptable suggestion.
Others may find this useful, even if you don't.
Anyway, I'll leave it to a Linode staff member to give you your answer.
