I have domains that I purchased with bluehost that I don't use and want to try using one for my vps.

How do i set it up so domain.com points to my vps.

Do I transfer it somehow or what? Im just not really sure how this part of it works. I think I have apache and everything set up but since the domain is owned by my bluehost account it points to just some generic bluehost page.

I've no idea if bluehost allows this but in your control panel on there set your name servers to

ns1.linode.com
ns2.linode.com
ns3.linode.com
ns4.linode.com

(you only need 2 the other 2 are optional).

Then you can point your domain to your server IP using the linode DNS manager.
