Hello, the only process that is running on this linode is a rsnapshot that connects to another linode to backup some websites (incremental backup).
But every time i got this message:
why?

Code:
Your Linode, has exceeded the notification threshold (1000) for disk io rate by averaging 3070.82 for the last 2 hours.

This is an automated message, please do not respond to this email.  If you have questions, please open a support ticket.

You can view or change your alert thresholds under the "Utilities" tab of the Linode Manager.

This is not meant as a warning or a representation that you are misusing your resources.  We encourage you to modify the thresholds based on your own individual needs.

You may access the members' site at <https://www.linode.com/members/>.

As the message says, you can set up warning thresholds in the control panel which send you an email when things like CPU usage, IO usage etc exceed a threshold.

This is such a message. If you think this is a normal amount of IO usage simply go in and up the threshold at which it send you a warning. As it says, you're encouraged to set these thresholds according to your own needs.

On the other hand, if for some reason you are worried about IO use on your server you could interpret this as a timely warning that your backup process is consuming a lot of IO and you may want to consider doing something about it.
