mod_pagespeed is an open-source Apache module that automatically optimizes web pages and resources on them. It does this by rewriting the resources using filters that implement web performance best practices. According the the mod_pagespeed link below, if you have two heads the combine_heads filter will combine them into one. Where is Zaphod Beeblebrox when he needs you?
