It would be good if you offered an alternative Linode sizing which rather than scaling RAM and storage in step provided much more storage but didn't really increase the RAM at all (say 1GB for the top end plan).

Sometimes you need more storage than the 512MB + storage upgrade offers but don't need or want to pay for the extra RAM which comes with the higher level tiers and would rather put the money towards a few extra GB of storage.

Alas, that wouldn't end up saving much... it would be a Linode 1024 with half the memory, rather than a Linode 512 with twice the disk, since disk is the primary physical constraint. The ratio of disk to memory is constrained by available storage technology. (The limit looks to be 600 GB/drive right now, or about 1.2 TB per four-bay 1U server.)

They're not just spammers, they're retards as well. They have a slow, piece-of-sh*t website that doesn't render properly in IE9, Firefox 3.x, Opera 11.x or Chrome 12.x. Way to go, web experts. Or IE6 -- it must be coded for some mystery browser.
