First I'd like to say that the new backup service is absolutely cool and has already proven useful to me. Still, I regret not being able to keep two different snapshots at any given time.

Would it be possible to decide what we wanna do with each of our three slots? I would for instance prefer two snapshot slots, and one weekly backup. It would be cool if we could allocate each slot to what we like: snapshot, daily, weekly, monthly, etc...

What do you think about this?

As coming from Slicehost I also miss this feature of the backup system.

I would love if Linode gave the option of configurable backup slots, and a pop-down list of what I want to do with each slot.

Be it:
monthly, weekly, and daily
monthly, and two snapshots
three snapshots
weekly, daily, and snapshot

I just have to point out that you actually have four slots:
1 snapshot
1 daily
2 weekly

Oh, thank you hawk! I was certain I read there were four but when I went to check I only found reference to three. Thank you for letting me know I'm not nuts.
