As title.

My /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
doesn't contains the mechanism line, how can I enable the
mechanisms = plain login

???

solved,
added
auth_mechanisms = plain login
in dovecot.conf and it works.

Just add it?


Anyway, you probably either at least want TLS or want to use some non-plaintext authentication scheme.
