In the Linode Manager, if I create a new Linode, but don't assign it to a data center, an IP address is still shown. For example:

linode144408 Being Created Linode 512 97.107.133.173 Select Location No - Enable Dashboard | Remove

Note the IP address, and "Select Location."

Is this a bug?

Not really, no. Your Linode actually exists somewhere before you specify. I can hide it, I guess...

It definitely threw me for a loop once. On the other hand, the 20 seconds I was confused are less time than it would take you to hide the IP.
