It's my first post here my name is Wagner Sartori Junior, I'm from Brazil. As a brazilian guy, I'd like to have a datacenter here . Better response times, latency, ...! I have one linode for personal use.

Do you have plans to provide linodes in places like Brazil, Argentina or South America in general?

You have a great opportunity here, the companies are very, VERY bad in VPS, very expensive and the support is worst I ever seen.

We have good datacenter in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The company that I work, works with Terremark in São Paulo(that has in Miami too the Nap Of The Americas), they are english speakers and can help you(I can provide a contact person if you want just send me a PM), TIC(telefonica internet datacenter), Diveo, brasil telecom, alog and others.

Terremark per example hosts google, verisign, akamai and others big US players in Brazil.

I can help you if you need, providing contacts, translating portuguese things or assisting other needs.

I agree.

All alternatives for hosting suck really bad here in Brazil. Linode would make a pile of cash if they brought their business here.

I have really bad latency but I still couldn't drop Linode, even tough we'll have to do it sooner or later if the latency doesn't get a lot better

One word: Panama!
