I was looking through using corosync to do HA resource managment with Pacemaker. Corosync natively supports mutlicast IPs for comms (though it does have poorly documented unicast documentation).

Having Linode being able to provide Administratively Scoped Multicast addresses (IPv4 or IPv6) either within a DC or across DCs would assist in using this functionality.
