I am new to linode.. my server was giving some mysql swapping error, so I just restarted the server, I can see apache is working, but mysql is still down.

And I can see a error in one of our site:

check your mysql logs and find out why it didn't start up on reboot.

Please can you guide me how to check the mysql log?

Take a look at /var/log/syslog
