Hello Sirs,

This is Team Anonymous, this is the final warning of a upcoming DDOS Attack that will target www.lowendbox.com, the attack will commence in less than 48 hours from now.

We request the IMMEDIATE suspension of the website www.lowendbox.com, NO SUSPENSION = 500Gbps DDOS Attack.

For proof we did a small 2Gbps DDOS Attack at 6:01pm GMT.

This is your FINAL WARNING, failure to comply will have serious consequences.

By the way, why is lowendbox.com hosted on a Linode? I thought it was a website where you could get recommendations for VPS's that cost less than $7/mo. Eating your own dog food, much?

I think it was so they were not affiliated with any LEB Provider, and were with a company that was unlikely to go walkies.

So, they pre-emptively did exactly what the troll asked them to, then? I guess we can chalk that up as a win for the troll, then. All he had to do was make a threat, and boom, site's gone.

Agreed. They win. Might have been better for them to try and mitigate the attack as it happened. Now these idiots think they're the awesomest.

So what happens if my IP is next or someone else's? Just going to sit back and let them close down whatever site they want?
