I have just joined linode with 512 package and a novice in linux. As per tutorials provided I have installed everything step by step using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS profile and managed to setup a website as well.

I have also installed Webmin but after successful installation the page https://server-IP:10000/ is not opening says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

Please help - where to check for errors etc?

Did you restart the server? Did you install a firewall helper or configure iptables as well? Are the webmin "miniserv" processes running?

Also, if it is running, you will get a SSL Certificate error, unless you got and installed a trusted cert already. That means you will have to click through an error page to get to the login.

problem solved, it was firewall blocking port.

Yup. I did that the first time I installed webmin, too. Have fun with it!
