I'm trying to get Poptop to work with a Windows 2000 VPN client. So far, I had to remove the stock Debian pppd and get the latest (2.4.2) tarball to get it to work at all. However, I can't use encryption; if I specify encryption on the Win2K VPN client, I get "Error 742: The remote computer does not support the required data encryption type."

There was a 2.4.25-linode25-2um that you had announced, but that didn't seem to be successful, and was withdrawn. Will MPPE make it back into the 2.4 kernels, or is it available in 2.6?
