I resized my instance and upon rebooting I get the following error in the linode console:

Xen Config '/linodes/linode64175/xen.conf' not found

I opened a support request but was told this was a problem with my linode itself, but I never changed any config etc. Also, some "emergency maintenance" was done during the time of the resize, I'm wondering if this had something to do with it? Like it corrupted a config file on the host or something?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,

Johnathan

That message really sounds like a config file is missing from the host filesystem, rather than anything in your Linode itself...

I'd have to agree looks like a linode problem, generally if you see any messages about Xen you need to keep jabbing support.

How to ask for help
1. Give details of your problem
2. Post any errors
3. Post relevant logs.
4. Don't hide details i.e. your domain, it just makes things harder
5. Be polite or you'll be eaten by a grue
