Could you post a screenshot illustrating the breakage?[/quote]

The forum posts box here is not working for me on any browser: http://www.linode.com/community/

That's not related to the browser, and is something we'll be addressing shortly.

Actually, not very many. But then again, I dislike the user experience of AJAX-heavy sites and avoid nearly all of them, so perhaps I am selecting out a lot of those which would display poorly.

In addition to the ones I posted? Or was this directed toward someone else?

Considering what a notable attack vector browsers are, using Firefox 1.5.x, which hasn't had a security update in many years, is very irresponsible.

Thank you for your remote analysis and judgment of my security posture based on a single scrap of information. I will be sure to file it in the appropriate place.

Sorry for the confusion. Was for those who mentioned they were experiencing issues without posting screenshots.

"I'm running a terribly out of date browser that hasn't seen security updates in years and makes me far more likely to get infected and be a danger to others" is a pretty significant scrap of information.

For whatever it's worth, I lost my avatar for some reason. Was empty when I logged in today. Uploaded a new one.

Part of the conversion from phpBB2 to phpBB3 - it can't be kept because of how things are different with the filesystem and database storage for avatars then and now.

Huh? My avatar stayed put with no user intervention thru the forum upgrade.

During the upgrade process, I realized phpBB3 wouldn't automatically move the correct avatars over. I was able to move over most of the avatars. However, it looks like some got lost in the move.

-Tim

Edit: As a side note, I'm not really sure why the upgrade tool was unable to actually move the avatars over. I was able to programmatically move them over.

The only issue I noticed with the new forum was that I needed to login again, and logins popup the no/spam box; I don't recall the old forum doing that.

Otherwise it's been mostly painless :-)
