Maybe a sticky in here would be helpful if people don't notice this forum being full of threads about fraud checks needing to be carried out before accounts are set up

Also removing the text during signup which says your accounted will be activated within hours.

Also in the welcome email it should say that the account is waiting validation and then send another email when it is activated.
