Hi Everyone,

I'm new, and clueless, I might as well get that out of the way first up :-( I'm hoping to find a helper, one of you very clever persons/system administrator perhaps?, who can log into my Linode setup and troubleshoot for me, why my new site reports a 500 error every 2 days and stops serving? I hate to ask - I have to manually reboot every 2 days or so to serve it again. Sorry to ask, and also I apologise if this is not the way to ask for help? I'm not tech-minded. I ask for practical hands-on help, because I've been through all the help sections diligently, but as a tech N00b, I don't have the foggiest what the hell I'm looking at..!

Thank You,

Top

People here can try to help if you provide some additional details:

What operating system and version are you using? (e.g., Ubuntu 12.04)
What web server are you using?
What web application(s) are you using? (e.g., Wordpress)
What specific error message are you getting?
Do your web server's logs contain anything about the errors?

It could also be useful to let us know the address of your site and what size Linode plan you're on.
