I followed this guide :
http://library.linode.com/email/citadel ... 0.04-lucid

and for LEMP this guide :

http://library.linode.com/lemp-guides/u ... al-hosting

but whatever I tried, I always obtain this error message :

This program was unable to connect or stay connected to the Citadel server. Please report this problem to your system administrator.Read More...

I really need help for this one.

Same problem..
I spent several hours figured it out partially.
you can try run (# webcit -d -p81 127.0.0.1 504) in your ssh console
then use port 81 to access your admin portal.

Doesn't Citadel run on its own web server? Then it should be running on a unique port behind the nginx proxy.
