Hi

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, and I'm sorry if it has. But I was wondering if it was possible to configure the distro wizard to install using various different partitions/devices.

I would like to be able to install a distro with /<root> /usr /home and /var on different partitions. I would like this so that if for whatever reason a partition of mine is having problems, var and home remain uneffected.

Is this at all possible? Or will I have to manually mount my partitions as desired ?

Hello,

The distro wizard makes a copy of the template file system and makes some minor modifications post-copy.

You can distribute the directories onto different disk images but you'll have to perform and copies and remount.

Thanks,
-Chris
