I hope you all enjoyed the power failure XO placed upon us. I know I enjoyed it :twisted: I've been with them for over six years (first it was 9NetAve, then Concentric, and finally XO) and this is the first service failure that was measured in hours instead of minutes.

The XO datacenter in NJ experienced a datacenter-wide power failure at 8:00 AM Eastern, and was resolved around 5:00 PM Eastern. I don't have any more details as to why the redundant systems didn't work. I assume it was something catastrophic.

The XO datacenter contains our equipment that hosts the Linode.com website.

The Linode machines themselves were unaffected.
