Would be great to have updated gentoo images, since the last time I attempted to install one it had an incredibly old profile which made it difficult to upgrade to the new portage and ABI version.

Mind, I gave up and did a clean stage3 install which took all of 30 minutes to complete. (showing how much time it will take you to do it ;) )

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. We'll look into updating the Gentoo image.
