I want to suggest a feature - importing DNS zone from Bind-style zone file.
AFAIK Currently only import from DNS servers via AXFR is supported.

one way around that would be to install bind on your linode and import that way, of course that solution doesn't do what you're after :P

It kind of would. IIRC, you can build a DNS zone by doing an AXFR from a name server. Been awhile since I've looked.
