Howdy,

So, I was migrating to one of the new Linodes. I entered the queue and waited about 12 hours for my slot to come up.

When it did, the migration ran for a bit and then failed. At this point, the machine would not boot. I contacted support who indicated that the migration failed because there was not enough capacity to migrate to. They are in the process of rolling me back to my original host.

All in all, this will probably be about 1.5 hours of downtime that could have been totally prevented if the migration system would have not allowed me to migrate to a host that had no resources.

Seems like a lot of hassle and heartache that could have been avoided.
