I've set up a new Arch linode and am loving it. Longview seems to work for all of my services except mysql.

I've followed the manual configuration options for longview, but the agent fails to start/run with the username/password set in /etc/linode/longview.d/MySQL.conf

debug doesn't display anything. Commenting those fields out (particularly password) will let it function again.

Anyone managed to get mysql reporting correct on arch?

Figured it out. Looks like the perl mysql extensions didn't get installed on install of the agent so it errors out in a very strange way.
